Each watercolor batch is completely unique and small; Non-repeatable. Watercolor half pans are not pillowtop or double filled. I take immense pride in how long it took to perfect my binder recipe. The medium/binder took over a year to perfect the recipe. Adding water to a pillowtop can result in paint activating and going everywhere and double batches aren't possible due to the unique pigment ingredients such as gemstones, wood and flora. All watercolors are completely handmade from start to finish; From the binder to the pigments, all are crushed, mulled, filled and packaged proudly by hand. With a little chemistry work and ingenuity, these watercolors will never mold nor go bad regardless of how many times you reactivate the paint.
All ingredients are proudly responsibly and sustainably sourced in the binders and pigments; They're also 100% natural. All watercolors are made with 100% locally and sustainable sourced Honey from the Great Lakes region.
