Weight of Hate

The weight of some people's hate towards being a gay or bisexual man can be a heavy burden indeed; overwhelming sometimes. It seems the entire world can be bent on convincing you there's something wrong with you; that somehow you're born wrong. Somehow what you desire isn't right. But, it is. You are right. You aren't alone. You never were. You have shoulders to cry on. You have an entire community of people, ready, willing and wanting to hold you tight and tell you "it's alright and you are loved beyond measure, unconditionally." and you are. We've got you.

Going into this pride month, I want you to be aware, whoever you are and wherever you are, you are not alone in your struggle. Gentlemen, trans, gals and everything in-between, know you are loved. There's a place for you and that's right beside us. "We" are one unit of an alphabet gang of LGBTQIA+ and we're far from perfect. A broken bunch of brunch having imperfections who are more than happy to tell you a thousand tales of survival but a million more of profound happiness. Know the light always wins, as does love. Fear not the unknown but fear never knowing happiness. Smile and let out all the pain and even in the darkest moment, keeping breathing, keep going and remember, even alone reading this...We are always with you and love you unconditionally. We'll help carry the Weight Of Hate.
